Things are okay.. I’ve just spent all my time organizing and watching movies. I’m in a list mood… so here goes… I’ll make a list of the movies I have watched this week.. (I’m tired though, so I probably won’t remember them all)

I have been doing a bad job of keeping up with the movies I have been watching.. and I really just want to bump that post about my dog down a little so it isn’t the first thing I see when I look here.. (*sighs* In my mind right now.. today is not Thursday.)

On to movies… I have been watching tons to keep my mind off of things.

the best thing I’ve watched in the past few days?

Immortal Beloved. This was a random rental - I remember hearing something about it when it came out.. but other than that.. I didn’t know anything about it. Why had no one told me about this movie before? I fell in love with this…this is definitely going on my list of favorites. :heart:

Mystic River - Alright, the acting… amazing. But the story… eh. Maybe the book is better? I don’t know.. but quite a few things left me going, “eh?” I also figured out which one was the killer early on in the movie. I also didn’t like one single woman in this movie - they all annoyed me. (did the guy that wrote this hate women or something? really.) I won’t get started on that..

Oh, damnit.. those are the only ones popping into my mind at the moment. Oh!

Remains of the Day - I have seen this before.. but I love this movie.

I haven’t been keeping up here with what movies I have been watching…I’m a procrastinator, what would you expect? (it would be a hell of a lot easier just to have my “Watching:…” list over on the right… *lazy*)

Anyways. I’m not going to do one-post-per-movie right now because that would be too many.. so they are all going to be jumped into one.

Before Sunrise is one of my all-time favorite movies. It is pretty simple.. just two people walking around Vienna at night. Talking. That is pretty much it.. Anyways, I heard awhile ago they were making a sequel but I guess I had forgotten it - because when I vierwed this trailer earlier.. I reacted like a kid at Christmas.

I figured I’d split these movie-ramblings into their own post..

Troy. Alright, why did no one tell me this movie was 3 freaking hours long?

I watched something on the History Channel about The Illiad recently - it made me want to read it since I never have.. but watching Brad Pitt deliver some of the lines was laughable, I’ve got to admit. I really didn’t mind watching Eric Bana for 3 hours though.

Movies. I know it’s almost 6am but I’ve been watching movies all night… here are a few… (I don’t really have anything to babble about right now but movies.)

Dirty Pretty Things - I’ll rent anything with Audrey Tautou in it. I loved this movie though - it’s about the London underground (but it could be any major city in the world).. and it’s basically described as an urban thriller. I didn’t really know a world like this existed outside of the movies. I’d highly recommend renting this one. I don’t want to talk about it too much and give away any of the plot.

Hope Springs - I figured if Colin Firth was the main star - how could it be bad? UGH. Stay far away from this movie. FAR. RUN!! I could care less if I give away any of the plot of this one. Actually, if I told you the storyline right now - you’d stop reading. I read reviews on IMDB stating that people wanted to kill themselves halfway through.. that it was the worst movie they have ever seen… etc. I still watched it though - I like Colin. Oh, how bad… I can completely agree with it being one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen. It’s just amazing how bad it is. I want my money back. (and I never say that) Something was wrong with the sound also.. the volume on my tv was above 50 just to hear the dialogue. I’ve never had to turn it up that high before!

I went to see Eternal Sunshine today! Oh man, I’m in LOVE. That was just one of the best movies I’ve ever seen in my life. I’ve been home for a few hours now but I can’t stop thinking about it. I don’t think I’ve ever had a movie-going experience quite like it.

I want to go see it again. Soon! I loved everything about it. A word that keeps popping into my head is that the movie is GENIUS. Pure genius.
