Accents.

I had the usual “which accent is your fave?” conversation with a friend earlier - I love that conversation. I know I’ve posted about it before, but it has been awhile, I think.

It was all started by watching the Behind the Scenes stuff on the LotR Two Towers DVD. Mainly by Billy Boyd (Pippin)’s Scottish accent.

So, tell me, which accents are your faves?

Mine…in no real particular order…Irish, Scottish, English, Australian, though at the moment - Scottish is numero uno. (haha, I now Sonja will agree with me on this one, eh?)

I have buried the old keyboard. As of 6am EST on Thursday, August 29th, 2003.. it was unplugged.

(hehe, those of you that have known me for awhile know which keyboard-straight-from-hell I speak of) It has been dying for awhile. All it’s major problems started months ago - maybe May or so? I’ve just been waiting for it to die completely.

Let’s take a moment to remember the hell it inflicted on my life.

- erasing long emails the second I finished with them.
- sending emails when I was halfway through - something so annoying I stopped answering to emails a bit ago. Now I need to catch up!
- sending completely jibberish to people.
- re-opening a program the second I closed it.
- starting up Outlook and music programs randomly. (maybe it wanted to hear music? )
- doing this weird Windows-beeping-thing at me.
- the wonderful times I called it “bastard” and said such sweet things like, “you son-of-a-bitch, I hate you!” as it closed a very long email on me… *sigh* memories.

RIP dear old crazy keyboard.

I’ve been trying to catch up lately.. *Hangs head in shame* It just feels like I’m neglecting this place.. ohwell, that will change!

I think I’m freaking out about turning 24. I really am. Part of me just doesn’t want to.
I’m engrossed in reading The Return of the King - if anyone is wondering where I am… that is where I can be found.
