Before Sunset

Monday, May 31st, 2004

Before Sunrise is one of my all-time favorite movies. It is pretty simple.. just two people walking around Vienna at night. Talking. That is pretty much it.. Anyways, I heard awhile ago they were making a sequel but I guess I had forgotten it - because when I vierwed this trailer earlier.. I reacted like a kid at Christmas.

Before Sunset.

*adds that to the list of things to see this summer* :)

Troy

Monday, May 31st, 2004

I figured I’d split these movie-ramblings into their own post..

Troy. Alright, why did no one tell me this movie was 3 freaking hours long? :P

I watched something on the History Channel about The Illiad recently - it made me want to read it since I never have.. but watching Brad Pitt deliver some of the lines was laughable, I’ve got to admit. I really didn’t mind watching Eric Bana for 3 hours though.

is the holiday weekend over already?

Monday, May 31st, 2004

I’ve had about four different posts written over the weekend.. and never got around to finishing any of them. Hmm.. I babbled about movies.. books. I think they each deserve their own post, I think.. There are probably going to be about 5 new posts tonight.. :)

Hope everyone had a good holiday!

Heehee. Since this is my first time posting as an FFAFer, I visited your 100 things page. I need to update my 100 things page (I have since cleaned out my fridge) and “See #6″ will be my new entries until I can think of something brilliant.

I love your smilies.

first job interview

Friday, May 28th, 2004

yay! :elephant:

i now have my first job interview scheduled in california. after days of e-mailing resumes and filling out multiple paper applications until my hand cramps, a principal has a job to lay out on the table.

my one question is.. why can’t everything just be done electronically already? why do some school districts still insist on having handwritten applications, where i must squeeze five years of job experience into one itty bitty box?

oh well. glad i could share my happy news on libby’s blog! love ya lib. :)

strangenesses and oddities sleep, and

Friday, May 28th, 2004

Well, I went to sleep at 7am, woke up at 10, 11, 12, stayed up an hour, went back to sleep and woke up now, at 4:30pm.

and yay ffaf is open! I always love the chance to post here mostly cos Libby’s so much fun. ;)

I wasn’t sure what to write about and then I opened up Trillian; I usually only leave aim on overnight. The second I opened up trillian I received a ton of offline messages. One was from a number (love icq) and said, ‘hello?’. Next message was, “hellloooo?” and then the third and last message was, “hellllllllllllllooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.”

Mind you, these were around9am when I was snuggling in my blankets with tons of pillows fast asleep. The timestamps indicated them to be about 1 minute apart. Come on now, you know? Even if I were awake I don’t always respond that fast!!

Anyway, no mo’ ramblin……….. :charliebrown:
