ach, I really didn’t post much throughout this month.. *shakes her head* *adds something else to the list of “things to do in September”… post more*

I’ll just make this a random entry about things from the past week…

#1 being that my Ipod died. *sobs* It started overheating and the buttons stopped working.. it goes back and forth between working and just not responding at all.. it’s still under warranty though - hopefully it can be fixed. My baby. :( yes, I know that makes me sound like a dork.

Last day of August… wow. :) September is starting.. which I’m thrilled about.. I love September. :)

also good points…

* Scrubs premieres tonight. (Well, I guess that still falls under the month of August.. but whatever.)
* Halloween is even closer.
* fall/autumn
* Eternal Sunshine is released on DVD at the end of September.

There are a hell of a lot more.. but my mind is drawing a blank.

Another random thought for the day… Snapple’s Summer Peach is fantastic. I never want them to quit making this.. I can’t stop drinking it. *addicted*

- I’m on page 779 of Monte Cristo.. I’m setting a goal to finish by this upcoming weekend.. Only about 450 pages left. *fingers crossed* With puppy around - I get no reading time nowadays. I’ve been trying to catch up.. and since I’ve been reading this book since July - I really want to finish it. I also want to transport Edmond from the fictional world into the real world, damnit.

ah, I’ll post more later. :) I hope everyone is doing well.

the day after FFAF

Saturday, August 28th, 2004

Well - it was another good FFAF. :) I didn’t get to spend much time posting this time.. but I’ll catch up next time around. It won’t be long before it is September’s FFAF, eh? ;)

Hope everyone has a great weekend! Thanks to everyone who posted yesterday. :)

I really only reminded Libby so that I could spam her site. But now I don’t know what to write. I just spent an hour wandering the streets of my new hometown, and I spent some time in bars drinking, too. I thought I was trying to socialize but I just found another way to be totally isolated from the rest of humanity.

On the whole, my apartment is a lot more comfortable and definitely cheaper.

Plus, it has red, bolue, yellow and white lights. It’s all about ambience, right?

Hey! :) Its fellow FFAF’er Luka here. In the past I’ve gone to all the blogs and posted quotes from movies. This month I am doing something a wee bit different. I am going to post quotes from songs :)

I don’t wanna touch you too much baby
‘Cos making love to you might drive me crazy
I know you think that love is the way you make it
So I don’t wanna be there when you decide to break it

Can YOU name this band? The song title too? :)

Hi!

Friday, August 27th, 2004

Just wanted to say hi :) I haven’t been around too much lately, but I figured I might as well post in your journal since I haven’t posted in mine in awhile…we need to catch up! I hope everything is going well with you. School is already driving me nuts, but I guess that’s to be expected. I’m reading D.H. Lawrence’s The Rainbow for my 20th Cen Brit Lit class; have you read that? If not, you should, I’m loving it already. Hope you’re having a lovely Friday! :-D

Eh, I’m broke

Friday, August 27th, 2004

Hello, fellow FFAF’ers! How did it get to be the end of August already?

I spent the summer going to lots of concerts and seeing a few Broadway shows, not to mention schmoozing with the likes of Hugh Jackman, Paige Davis, Joey Fatone and Joe McIntyre at stage doors. What do I have to show for it? A bunch of ticket stubs, concert t-shirts, Playbills, photos, and an outstanding debt that I really need to start paying off!

I figure if I do nothing that involves money, and buy nothing that doesn’t include food or necessities, I might be able to make a debt in that credit card debt I’m accrued over the past few years. Anyone have any tips on how to have fun for free?

(By the way, debt or no debt, it was worth it for all of the cool shows I saw!)
