Hello. My name is Libby. & I have “TiVo guilt”. Right now, I’m watching Lost. <3 Huzzah for. TiVo!! I crashed earlier tonight, so I would have missed it. What did we ever do before TiVo? Funny..There are posts here I wrote in 2002. About hrm, 2 whole years before I knew about tivo. Now… I have “Tivo guilt”. *hangs head in shame*
What is “tivo guilt”? A friend linked me to an article about it. I need to find it! It basically means I feel obligated to watch what it records. I didn’t know there was an actual word for it. No, I don’t have it do the “tivo suggestions” thing where it records things it THINKS I would like. That would drive me batshit crazy.
I record stuff & keep it. If the show is really a favorite - it is watched asap. But other things I do want to see, but haven’t… Well, I think, “Hey, I could watch it one night when I can’t sleep. I should keep it. I could still watch it.” So, after a bit… No space! So it deletes things. (Only my faves are marked “do not delete unless I say”)
Why am I making an entire blog post about this??
Right now, I have my regular Wednesday night shows recorded. Lost, Criminal Minds (I’m new to this. Quickly becoming a favorite! I recently started renting season 1 from Netflix) House, Better offTed, Scrubs, Stargate Continuum, & a rental from Amazon-unbox. (Transporter 3 for anyone that cares) There are various other sitcom-reruns & whatnot I have recorded, but not really “high priority”.
Help? 
Anyways! The only days I really have space issues are Mondays & Thursdays.
Which means… I need to clear some space!
Wow.. Did anyone read this??

Hi everyone! I’m attempting again. I’m really excited about getting this working again! I can’t believe I have posts going back to 2002! That really freaks me out. I have not ventured into those posts yet. Another time! Times have changed.
This is my last year of my 20’s. This freaks me the HELL OUT!
I have three years worth of babbling to catch up on. Get ready!
I know no one knows this is back up yet. Forgive all the “pages” & links on the right over.there. Very very outdated!

Well, I cannot believe it has been since 06 since I posted!! What happened???
I really have some organizing to do.
I’m sure no one checks this & I know quite a few links aren’t active anymore. I really want to start posting again, though.
When I loaded Wordpress, I saw a post about my new puppy. Funny.. He’s not a pup anymore.
I will post more in a bit. Just wanted to see if this works!

I’m terrible at keeping in touch nowadays. I mean, really bad at it. Recently, I got heard from some very very very VERY old friends and while I’m so happy to catch up - I will admit that part of me feels terrible that I am this bad at keeping in touch. :/
Even looking at how little I post here makes me sad. I used to be such an addict!
I am trying to catch up. and I hope everyone is doing well! (if anyone is reading this.)
…and it would help if that password protect thing would work on these entries. hmmm… NO idea. :( It works - except no one can comment on those particular entries.

I feel bad.. I’m neglecting this place. (I’m so out of touch.) What to ramble about?
Well… major news for the week? I have a new project. See, for some reason.. my Itunes library crashed. My music is there, but every single playlist, smart playlist, rating, etc… ALL gone. Apparently, everything reset itself to what my Itunes was like in 2004. (what on earth?) *shrug* I was bitching about it to a friend earlier today and she told me the same thing happened to her sister last week.
Tip for the day? Back up your Library. 
Sure, it isn’t a huge deal or anything.. but it is 2 year worth of organizing gone. and I had playlists for each month.. what I happened to be listening to at that time, etc. Road trip music, etc. *sigh*
I’m a dork when it comes to organizing stuff like that.. you wouldn’t believe the criteria I had for making smart playlists. (I’ll spare you the details - so I don’t sound like more of a dork. )
Another topic… I recently found out the first time I put together my “100 Things” list was August 29th about 4 years ago. Funny thing is, on August 29th of this year… I wanted to see what I was posting about a few years ago on that day. (that is how I found out it was the first day I posted the list.) I think it is time I redo that!
Anyways, if anyone is still reading this - I miss you guys!
